What is it? Static Load Management is a simple yet effective solution that fixes the load on all EV chargers at a site. It safeguards your site from overloading and outages by limiting total power consumption while enabling the installation of more chargers to meet demand.

How does it work? Each charger is set to provide a static amount of power. For example, when there are 80A available at a site with 4 chargers, each charger will receive 20A no matter how many are charging at one time. It’s easy to manage and highly reliable, offering consistent performance within available limits

Who is it ideal for? This option is perfect for sites with predictable and basic EV charging needs. It’s an ideal choice for locations that require straightforward and stable power management while meeting EV charging demand.

Dynamic Load Management

 

What is it? Dynamic Load Management is a versatile solution that ensures available power is distributed optimally across chargers at a site, based on real-time energy demand. It allows EVs to get the maximum power available while enabling the installation of more chargers at a site to meet demand.

How does it work? Each charger is set to dynamically adjust its power output based on the static amount of total power available for charging, and the dynamic number of vehicles charging at a time. For example, when there are 80A available at a site with 4 chargers but only 3 are charging, each charger will receive 27A as 80A is divided evenly for the 3 chargers. This system optimises energy usage by reducing charging times during off-peak hours and preventing overload during peak times.

Who is it ideal for? This solution is perfect for locations with high traffic, especially in areas where grid congestion is a concern. It helps avoid costly power system upgrades and keeps your operations running smoothly while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Double Dynamic Load Management

 

What is it? Double Dynamic Load Management is the optimal solution that unlocks available power from all areas of a site for EV charging. This is achieved using real-time data from a smart meter connected to your building.

How does it work? The system measures the total power usage of your building. When energy demand drops - like at night - additional power is redirected to your EV charging stations. With double dynamic load balancing, you can speed up charging without risking grid congestion or system failures.

Who is it ideal for? This solution is perfect for large businesses, industrial complexes, and multi-point EV charging networks with high energy demands. It's especially useful for sites with fluctuating power needs, ensuring efficient energy use without the need for expensive infrastructure upgrades.
